From David comes this update on the Arambula shooting (previously here and here); the officer was cleared of wrongdoing.

Now, I have a few LE buddies; served in the Marine Corps with even more, so I'll grant them that they have a job I wouldn't do. But the doctors who fixed this guy up say that he was shot in the back, and at least two shots appear to have come while he was on the ground.

I don't know how anyone, LEO or citizen can figure that shooting a man in the back, while he's on the ground is A-OK?

Does anyone not understand why many folks think that we're at the end, if not of the world, at least of this country ?
