A man used a frozen armadillo to attack a 57-year old Pleasant Grove woman, Dallas police said.

According to investigators, the altercation occurred when the suspect was selling the carcass to the victim, who planned to eat the animal.

Last Saturday, our dog injured himself (or was injured by a car, we're not sure) by tearing his ACL. Since it was the weekend, I had to go to Chattanooga to the only real emergency clinic in my area.

Spent $340 without blinking an eye (and believe me, I'd have spent much more for my dog).

But my wife (who has 8 sewing machines in various states of repair), balks at me spending money for a new Ruger .22 pistol (her granny has more firearms than I do!).

Strange that ...
