I had heard nothing about this:

Christopher Bryan Speight, a 39-year-old security guard, surrendered to police at daybreak Wednesday after leading authorities on an 18-hour manhunt following the shootings at a house in rural central Virginia where deputies found a mortally wounded man and seven bodies.

The victims were four adults, three teenagers and a child.

The death of the 4-year old child is particularly tragic.

The article mentions that Speight was a 'gun enthusiast', and that neighbors had automatic weapons fire, and weapons fire at night.

My guess is that this man snapped, an the victims just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sad.

Reminder: Polanski raped a child.

I've seen a few posts about Roman Polanski's arrest and hopefully, his extradition back to the US ....... either he's a misunderstood, persecuted film genius, or he's a demented, self-admitted criminal.

I think he's a miserable excuse for a human, despite all he's overcome, and I hope that Mongo with all the tattoos takes the lad under his wing, and that Polanski dies with Mongo's cock in his tight, european ass.

An article that asserts that the federal government didn't clear the flammable underbrush in CA due to environmentalist pressure (Yahoo has the story linked).

The feds were going to controlled-burn around 1700 acres, but they only burned 193 (due to pressure).

The wildfires have destroyed 140,000 acres so far.

How's that environmentalism working out for you now?
