Here's a good one for you ...

... officer wittless victim of accidental discharge, shoots suspect while serving arrest warrant:

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond tells us the officer's gun fired when he tripped while serving the warrant.
Obviously, since this is the media, vital information is lacking. he tripped while serving the warrant.
Obviously, since this is the media, vital information is lacking.

The video segment at the link states that the officers' rifle accidentally went off, striking the suspect in the calf. Rifle? Patrol rifle? Like an evil AR-15-assault-weapon-that-doesn't-have-any-other-use-than-to-kill?

Notice my shocked face.

And this is from the news organization that I was told went to the shooting range, supposedly to get familiar with firearms, since a lot of their viewers were complaining about their complete idiocy about firearms lack of familiarity about firearms.

And the reportress who went to the scene is one of the valiant few who went to the range ... they even got to shoot an AR-15, so I guess they're experts now.

Glad I don't live in Hamilton Co anymore ........
