At a time when police officers are being asked to pay mileage costs to drive city cars home and back, our first report showed how top-paid city employees did not have their $400-a-month car allowance taken away, as the Mayor said would happen, but quietly moved to a $4,800 a year salary increase.
Craig Joel (whiney bitch) who is the vice president of the local FOP, is outraged ... outraged I say ... that 6 (six) judges and high-level city officials are still getting their take-home cars.
6 ... $28,800.00 a year.
Sounds like a lot, don't it.
Until you weigh that against the $1.5 million that it costs Chattanooga to allow police officers to take their cars home. $1.5 million that the city doesn't have.
