It also cures people of any self belief they cannot be wrong. You clear up a lot of messes during a lifetime in engineering. I could be wrong on global warming – I know that – but the guys on the other side don't believe they can ever be wrong."Hmmm, sounds like someone's incredulous. It is interesting that AGW seems to be some nebulous kind of science, while engineering is hard as hell (like the difference between Wall Street and Main Street, but I digress).
The link also mentions that we need to learn something from this escapade in order that the money spent wasn't a waste. My theory is we (that is, the politicians) won't learn anything, and no matter what, the money was wasted.
Utterly wasted.
