Mike at Sipsey Street posted a link to this video of Senator Tom Coburn accepting an award from the Gun Owners of America.
He has great things to say about the GAO, but not quite so much about the NRA. I continue to have my disgreements with the NRA, and they started in '86 when they allowed the Hughes amendment to the GCA to fuck class III weapons owners (well, not owners, but those who wanted to be owners).
For you NRA apologists out there, I want you to do me a favor ....... write your NRA representative and ask him/her when the NRA is going to support repealing the Hughes amendment.
But don't hold your breath ............
