Is it racial?

You decide .......

A video that has come to my attention (linked).

1. I say, assume it's racially motivated, especially since it's a bunch of black thugs beating on a white kid (and if the races were reversed, the assumption would be .... raaaaaaaacially motivated hate-crime death to the perpetrators)

2. Expel the thugs ...... immediately. No suspension, no alternative school. Expel.

3. Bring charges against the thugs, and attempt to get double sentences because of the obvious racial motivation for the attack.

4. Suspend those students who cheered for at least 2 weeks, allowing no make-up of their school work. Sorry kids.

5. Address the piece of crap bus driver - if he called 9-1-1, then only suspend him/her; if he didn't, then he/she needs to be fired immediately.

Everyone involved, however remotely, needs to understand that this kind of behavior will NOT be tolerated (and will be prosecuted) in a reasonable society. Not holding those responsible accountable for their actions tacitly endorses the behavior. If these kids aren't prosecuted, it wouldn't surprise me if the beat-up kid started bringing a firearm to school and opened fire on his attackers, and you know what?

Wouldn't bother me at all.
