Of course, there’s a better alternative the government could pursue. It could encourage people to own and profit off of endangered species. That’s been happening in Texas, but a facet of the program may be about to come to an end.
Conservationists have argued for decades that the profit in hunting a species serves to ensure their continued existence. Environmentalists just don't listen. So I've got a solution.
The environmentalists need to get off their asses and buy a few of these endangered specimens and take them back to Africa, where they can join in the same endangered boat their brethren are in.
Oh, and STFU!
