With a week to go before a murder conspiracy trial for three Interior members of the Alaska Peacemakers Militia, prosecutors have asked a judge to block several potential defense arguments on grounds they are irrelevant and distracting.

Prosecutors want a ban on mention of the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident, self-defense, entrapment, the 2010 Alaska Firearms Freedom Act and the fact that one of the defendants is a Mormon.
I mean, it's not like the government has unlimited funds or anything. As far as I'm concerned, anything that a defense can use to thwart the government should be allowed.
