What now?

There's been another shooting, this time in FL:

Julie Schenecker, 50, a military officer's wife, was arrested Friday when police, responding to call from a concerned relative, found her covered in blood on the back porch of her home.

The woman allegedly confessed to the officers there that she had shot her 13-year-old son and then her 16-year-old daughter because they were "mouthy."

Now, you probably won't hear nearly as much about this shooting as you've heard about the Tuscon massacre, and I'll try to go over some of the reasons (as I see them).

1. Only two victims - there's no need for the usual suspects to pull out their hip-waders for a blood dance involving just a couple of mouthy kids.

2. No evil 'assault' pistols used - the mom used a garden-variety .38 revolver (we can only guess about this, since the MFM consistently gets firearms wrong) with 6 shots. That fits well within the 10-shot limit the anti-gun bigots would saddle us with.

3. Law-abiding citizen legally purchased the handgun - no outward signs there was anything wrong here.

4. This incident doesn't fit the MFM narrative.

Listen close ... this is all you'll hear about these two senseless deaths. Two deaths that just don't count to the anti-gun bigots.
