I saw Dr S...Bob, I'd generally agree with you.<br /><br />I saw Dr Sanjay Gupta saying that the condemned's vein blew out causing the drugs to not get into his body properly; perhaps there needs to be a catheter installed.<br /><br />And like you I agree that the execution need not necessarily be painless. It isn't for his sake but for the state and the people; they need assurance the protocol will work as designed.<br /><br />I also don't think the execution comes close to meeting the intent of the 8th Amendment.
